Like many other webcomic creators, I upgraded both WordPress and ComicPress recently. Doing so wiped out the BVA theme. So, I’ll be rebuilding it over the course of the next few days.
A new comic will appear Friday, Sept. 4, another rant from Angry John. I’ll work out a schedule after that and am thinking of the permanent way forward for BVA. Not sure what it is yet. But it will still be around. Regularly.
If you’re still hanging in there, thanks.
BVA is coming back. Finally.
We’ve settled into our new home in Europe. I’ve got all the technology necessary to produce good pages. And I’ve got a plot line to finish. So, with that, it’s time to start cranking out some pages. You’ll see a return of “The Cablinasian Candidate” story line. You’ll also see the usual one offs. However, I’m going to switch to traditional comic book formatting (vertical pages).
I look forward to your comments and readership, and hope we build something fun and worthy of your returning eyeballs!
BVA will be taking a back seat to some other projects for the foreseeable future. This Web site will come down July 1. No return date to speak of, although it’s still an important effort for me. I’ll come back to this when I’ve got some of the other writing projects completed.
Thanks!
Due to an overseas move as a result of a job change, BVA is going to be put on hold for a time. All of my computer gear will be packed about two months later than my actual arrival. So, I’ll be without the means to actually create a the comic. However, I will be pencilling the new editions and will be well ahead once I’m settled.
I appreciate everyone who follows and keeps up with the BVA guys and appreciate your patience during this move.
The next chapter of the Cablinasian Candidate is drawn. Really. And, it colored. No kidding.
There’s just the matter of the script.Â
I can’t find it.
So, I’m, err, looking for it. I had it recently and never got the words onto the panel. So, I’m scrubbing all points today. If I can’t find it, I’ll rewrite it. But the original IS funny.
